Sunday June 21st-
Sunday we started are 6 hour swim. Distance didn't matter as long as we stayed in the water for 6 hours. It was originally planned that we would do a 7 hour swim but that was only to change are mind set and we were told it would only be 6 hours during are 4 hour feed. The water temperature was between 52-54 Fahrenheit or 11-13 Celsius.
I did complete 6 hours and got out of the water shortly after the 6 hour point. I was cold from the 2 and a half hour point until the 4 hour and then I warmed back up and was very comfortable when I got out.

- I am training to swim the English Channel in the summer of 2009 when i am 16 years old. My tide is booked for July 28, 2009 through August 6,2009. I am a student at Sacred Heart Prep in Atherton, California where I play water polo and swim on the men's varsity swim team. I started open water swimming with Water World Swim Club in San Francisco when I was 13 years old. I have completed one international swim and seveal in the United States, including 12 different Alcatraz swims, the 3 mile Gator Man swim in La Jolla California, a 10k and a 1 mile sprint in Fort Myers Florida, the United States Open Water 10k National Championship in Lake Harriot Minneapolis, and the Santa Barbara Channel from Anacapa Island to Oxnard in a time of 5 hours 3 minutes and 53 seconds, where I set a new record time by breaking the old one by 15 minutes.
